What is SME sellers? SMEs (Small Medium Enterprise) on Daraz are sellers with sales lSMEs for BD : GMV <40000 in Feb 2020
Can I avail 0% commission opportunity? The commission will be waived for all sellers whose sales were for SMEs : GMV <40000 in the month of February for all orders delivered between 1st May and 30th June 2020. The commission will also be waived for all new sellers who registered after 1st March
How do I check how much I have earned in the month of February? In order to check if you earn money online less than SMEs : GMV <40000 in Feb 2020
all you need to do is sum up the total payouts of both cycles in February. .
Do I get subsidized packaging? The current packaging rates are subsidized for all sellers.
Till when will commission be 0%? The commission fee will be 0% for all orders delivered by SME sellers (sellers who earned less than in the month of February) between the 1st May and 30th June
Is 0% commission applicable to a new seller Yes, all sellers who registered after 1st March are eligible for 0% commission as well as new sellers joined after this period. The waiver of commission fee is applicable between 1st May to 30th June.
How can I get my shop marketed/promoted by Daraz? All sellers can enjoy this benefit as Daraz is investing in marketing to boost traffic to your online shops. It will be automatically be done by Daraz.
What is Express sign up? Express sign up is a Daraz initiative to assist aspiring sellers in setting up their shop on Daraz within 2 days provided the individual/potential seller has submitted all details required and they are correct and verifiable.
What is the fulfillment SLA for orders right now? The fulfillment SLA has been extended to days for all sellers who are currently online keeping in mind the situation in the country. This is subject to change as situation develops and all sellers will be notified upon any change.

We will not hesitate to take strict action against all offenders including blacklisting them from the platform.
Can sellers from any city sign-up? Yes, sellers from all cities of Bangladesh can sign up on Daraz.
Do I have to pay to become a seller on Daraz? No, there is no registration fees.
How fast is the payment process for sellers? Daraz transfers all payments to your bank accounting twice a month (every 2 weeks).
In how many days can i become a seller on Daraz? As a part of our Seller initiative that aims to take on-board new and aspiring sellers, through our express sign up they can set up their shop on Daraz within 2 days provided all details required are submitted and correct.
Are there any discounts on packaging material? The packaging material is already on a subsidized rate.

Eid ul Adha 2021 is one of the main festivals in the Islamic calendar that has great importance. It dates from the historic time Prophet Ibrahim had a vision where the Almighty Allah (swt) commanded him to sacrifice his son for Him and while he was in the act, Allah (swt) sent the Angel Jibril to replace the son with a lamb. Eid ul Adha remembers the willingness and great sacrifice Prophet Ibrahim was ready to obey Allah and it is followed as a Holy tradition by Muslims all around the world.

Since performing a sacrifice in the name of Allah has many sacred values attached to it, it is important that if you’re taking part in Qurbani, then you should perform it in accordance with all the Islamic rules mentioned in the holy Quran and Sunnah for Qurbani Eid to make sure your sacrifice is accepted.

Qurbani Rules in Islam

There are certain rules which are mentioned in the Quran regarding Qurbani that must be followed to make sure your sacrifice is accepted by Allah (swt).

  1. First, you should make sure that the Qurbani should only be performed between the 10th and 12th dates of Dhul Hijjah and can only be carried out after the Eid prayer.
  2. The person who is performing the sacrifice or is getting a sacrifice done in his/her name must not trim his/her hair or nails from the 1st of Dhu’l-Ḥijjah till the Qurbani.
  3. The Qurbani must be divided in three shares – one for oneself, one for family, relatives or close friends, and the other for the poor
  4. For Cow or camel upto seven shares are granted and for goat or ship only one share is applicable
  5. Before sacrificing the Animal, Takbeer must be called out to ensure your Qurbani is accepted
  6. The Animal should not suffer or go through any mishandling during the slaughtering
  7. No part of the animal be it the meat, skin, organs, etc be sold for money as it would invalidate the sacrifice

Qurbani Rules for Family

The rules for Qurbani on family or a household imply that the head of the family or household who has the capacity and wealth can offer Qurbani on behalf of all the people who live in the house. While the shares donated by the family should be made for each person. For example, if a family of 5 performed Qurbani then they have to donate 5 shares each.

Qurbani Rules for Husband And Wife

The rules for Qurbani for husband and wife are the same ruling for any person performing the sacrifice. Both the wife and husband for qurbani must follow the rules levied on individuals performing the sacrifice. According to the Quran, both the wife and husband must make their intention to offer Qurbani or udhiyah. Moreover, if the wife has her own money and is eligible for Qurbani then the husband does not have to give a share for the wife.

Qurbani Rules for Child

According to the Quran, the rules for qurbani for children state that it is not mandatory or wajib on a child who has not reached puberty. However, if the child’s guardian is giving a share on behalf of the child then the child must follow the rules before Qurbani.

Is Qurbani Farz or Sunnah?

Qurbani is obligatory on every wealthy Muslim who is eligible for qurbani as it is an order from Allah but it is not farj for every muslim. Qurbani is considered as a Sunnah which means people who perform qurbani will be highly rewarded but if a person is unable to do so, it will not be considered as a grave sin.
