She shared her experience on how local fabrics like khadican be made trendy. She also highlighted how local fabrics can add to the rural development of the country.

Followed by Maheen Khan’s discussion, Sumit Jasoria, Head of Marketing Daraz Bangladesh and Myanmar emphasized the importance of creating a brand using local industries. He added his observation on South Asian markets, in spite of producing high quality goods in fashion industry people of this region was never able to brand it properly. Branding local goods can bring huge changes in the fashion industry of this region and also support the livelihood of local craftsmen.

There was Q&A session where fashion designers, bloggers, journalists and enthusiasts asked their questions to the speakers.
