Black Friday is known as the ultimate day for shopping of many western and eastern countries. Every year on the last Friday of November, shoppers celebrate this day by shopping their hearts out at online and offline stores. Shopping enthusiasts patiently wait for this particular day to get the best deals and discounts on their desired products, be it fashion, gadgets or home appliances.

The first Friday after Thanksgiving is known as Black Friday. It is considered the official and unofficial beginning of the shopping season in US and many other countries in the world. Many employers give their employees the day off as part of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. It has routinely been the busiest shopping day of the year since 2005.

There are two theories regarding the name Black Friday. One derives from the notable traffic congestion that occurs on this day and other theory suggests it comes from the accounting practice of writing the profit with BLACK ink.

In 2014, around 133 m shoppers spent $50.9 billion during Black Friday holiday alone. Usually the sale starts at midnight.

All the major retail online and offline stores come up with “door-buster” offers to attract as many consumers as they can. On the other hand customers surf their favorite sites to get these amazing deals.

Black Friday is like a game day, where retailers try to give out their best deal and consumers try to find the best one.
